Day-um, I recognize characters I don't even remember the names of.
Gah, where do I know that furry headless guy from?
Run Calvin, run Hobbes!
There's something really alive with well inked art that sets it apart from the repetitive, boring polished digital art.
Inked cartoons are inherently interesting while digital paintings have limited life spans. There are a few exceptions though.
Great work. Carry on producing buddy.
This reminds me of those cartoons (drawings, not animated) back in my childhood (80s/ early 90s) that influenced me. So much detail, so much graceful line work, inks, and so many cool little things. I especially like your unadulterated approach to this. You weren't afraid to draw the sexy space babes with calvin and hobbes. I just hate how art is sort of hodwinked into having to be this moral, type-cast type of thing. I loved being a little deviant as a kid, and emulating my favorite artist like c00p, by drawing those very same sexy space babes in teh same space as say ... charlie brown, or the jetsons...without being accused of some random insult.
To me....this is what deviant art is about !
NOTE: Now i see why this reminds me of my childhood, and why it has that style. The mad blimp up there tipped me off
Have a nice day!
Calvin and Hobbes at the bottom made this one of my favorites. This is great!
